THE GRAND TAKE-OVER

Updated: Aug 21, 2020

It’s a race with time and space for the human species, all the way. It’s their yearning for more that keeps them moving, never mind what direction. One of the greatest differences between humans and beasts according to communication psychology is the capacity to seek more information. Animals fall short of this privilege. To be precise, information conveyed in all possible formats about how to attain a blissful life is the matter here.

This information might not have worked out to our advantage. The resulting supremacy battle within society has turned out rough and messy. Since information is very demanding, no one is at rest. Individuals cannot buy the 8hrs sleep idea since taking a nap has become most convenient. The global access to this information has further necessitated an unwavering dedication; one has to make it in life.

Rather than turning us to some uniquely cohesive society, this information is driving a wedge between individuals. The few lucky who can keep up with its demands are deemed to have overcome all life huddles. The future shock that bites the less fortunate lot down here is unimaginable. The load of valuable information hangs on their shoulders but there’s no enablement to unload it successfully into a better life. They are left grappling with the scarce resources if not extremely overrated and overpriced ones.

Could the recent spiralling cases of depression and suicide an aftermath of too much information; that which doesn’t translate into reality for some in society if not all? Who is to blame?

The so called elite are always in the lime-light at talk-shows and ted-talks listing and highlighting seven success tips. Are they even achievable? Why do they find it hard to evade from exaggerations at least on this matter? Many people might have enslaved themselves to some out-of-this-world information. Information could have bustled many into a race to nowhere.

Is time ripe for us to restructure our societal belief-system through proper and sober dissemination of information? We could be addressing success wrongly by overrating or even underrating information. We need to address issues with utmost practicality. This would work for us in the right direction.

Just speaking value to life.
